Smarter Filters and More Customization

Product Update and Release Notes - Smarter Filters and More Customization

This week’s midweek update brings deeper control, smarter filtering, and several refinements to recently launched features. Custom Fields and Calendar Sync are already driving meaningful improvements across teams, and this release continues to build on that foundation.

If you have been experimenting with Custom Fields, we would love your feedback. Your input helps shape how these tools evolve in the months ahead.

What’s New

Custom Field Filters

Custom Field Filtering

You can now filter by Custom Fields to create deeply personalized client and prospect lists. This includes the ability to filter not only by the presence of a field but also by the absence of one. It is a powerful way to surface new opportunities and spot missing data points across your book.

Negative Filtering for Primary Tags

Primary Tags now support negative filters, giving you more precise control when building lists and refining search results. You can now include exactly who you want to see and exclude those who do not fit your criteria.

URL Field Type

A new URL Custom Field Type allows you to store links and click them directly from within a contact or household record. This small but impactful feature streamlines workflows that rely on external references or client-specific resources.

Dynamic Field Repositioning

Custom Fields now support drag-and-drop repositioning, allowing you to reorganize your sections and fields with ease. It is now simpler than ever to customize how information is displayed within the Contact Detail workspace.

Today’s Updates Report Enhancement

The Today’s Updates Report now displays notes directly within activity entries. An additional improvement to how titles and descriptions are displayed is planned for later this week.

Important Information Panel

A new Important Information section has been added to the side panel of the Contact Detail workspace. This allows you to pin a contact or household bio for quick viewing. A future enhancement will make this toggleable for all contacts and will save your preferred viewing settings.

Ongoing Improvements

This release also includes several smaller refinements and stability improvements as the team continues active development on the next major features scheduled for release in the coming weeks.

Looking Ahead

Custom Fields have opened the door to a new level of personalization inside Altitude. With advanced filtering, dynamic layout options, and stronger integration with reporting, advisors can now manage and visualize data in ways that were never possible before.

As we move further into the quarter, our focus remains on expanding automation, improving reporting, and refining Calendar Sync for a seamless, unified experience.

Thank you for continuing to climb with us. The view ahead keeps getting clearer.
