This week, the focus is on foundation. Our team is finalizing internal testing on several major features, including the first of Altitude’s new reports, updates to letter and birthday letter printing, two-factor authentication, and email signatures.
More details on those enhancements will be shared in tomorrow’s release. For now, here is what has gone live over the past few days.
What’s New
Activities and Personal Contacts
Activities linked to a Personal Contact will now automatically update their status within the corresponding Personal Contact record. This keeps progress accurate and reduces the need for duplicate updates.
Document Organization
Documents attached to Notes now appear in the Documents tab within each contact, ensuring that important files are always easy to find.
Session Stability
An issue that caused some users to be logged out unexpectedly due to security settings has been resolved. You should now remain signed in consistently. If you continue to experience this issue, please let us know.
Clearer Contact Views
It is now much easier to see which contact you are viewing within the Contact Detail workspace, providing greater clarity as you move between records.
Quick Updates in Highlights
You can now update activity dates or add notes directly from the Highlights section in the Contact Detail workspace, allowing for faster edits without switching views.
Opportunity Management
You can now delete Opportunities from within the Contact History, giving you greater control over record management.
Email History Visibility
You can now view the full history of any email in the Activity History, improving visibility and context for client communications.
Expanded Contact History
The number of viewable history items in the Contact workspace has been increased, making it easier to review longer client timelines.
Simplified Contact Editing
The Wealth field is no longer required when updating a contact. This change streamlines data entry and removes unnecessary steps.
Interface Refinements
The copy icon in the Address field has been updated for better clarity and usability.
Improved Contact Filtering
Contacts marked as Deceased, Permanently Off, or Do Not Contact will no longer appear in Personal Contact workspaces, keeping your active lists clean and focused.
Birth Date Entry
Final fixes have been implemented for birth date entry. You can now enter and update client birth dates smoothly and without error.
Looking Ahead
With the groundwork laid and key features in testing, the next few releases will be significant. The upcoming introduction of reporting, enhanced security through two-factor authentication, and the reintroduction of fully functional letter tools mark a major step forward in Altitude’s evolution.
We appreciate your continued feedback and patience as we bring these new capabilities to life. Each release builds on the last, bringing Altitude closer to the intelligent, reliable system advisors rely on every day.
Thank you for climbing with us. The summit keeps getting closer.
